报告摘要：I will start from a brief introduction to the complex multiplication  theory. I will then explain the Theorem of André about CM points on algebraic curves, and my recent work with B. Allombert, F. Luca and A. Pizarro, which gives very explicit version of the Theorem of André on certain low degree curves.

报告人简介： 于1986年在苏联的 Byelorussian State University 获得学士学位，1994年在以色列的 Ben-Gurion University of the Negev 获得博士学位，1994-1995年、1995-1996年、1996-1997年、1998-2000年分别在德国 Universität Göttingen、Max-Planck-Institut für Mathematik、瑞士的 ETH Zürich 和 Universität Basel 从事研究工作，2000年在瑞士的 University of Basel 获得 Habilitation 并到法国 Université Bordeaux I 任教授至今， 2014年任 exceptional class professor 。他主要从事数论和算术几何的研究，特别是在丢番图方程、丢番图逼近、丢番图几何等领域获得了一些非常重要的结果，比如：2001年他与人合作解决了百年数论问题--Lucas和Lehmer数本原素除子的存在性，该篇文章目前在美国《数学评论》被单篇引用了167次；在分裂 Cartan 情形下的 Serre 一致性问题上取得重要进展，发表在  《Ann. Math.》 上；他的关于代数环面上小点的极限分布的结果发表在 《Duke Math. J.》 上等等。
